Craftsman Training Scheme Exam System
Trade Test is conducted on All India basis and the question papers are issued to all Trade Testing Centres by the NCVT. Passed-out candidates are issued with National Trade Certificate (NTC) under the seal and authority of NCVT by DGT, New Delhi.
Apprenticeship Training Scheme Exam System
Every apprentice who has completed the prescribed period of apprenticeship training and put in minimum required attendance shall appear for the final All India Trade Test for apprentices, conducted under the aegis of National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). The examination is conducted twice in a year, in the months of April/May and October/ November. The successfully passed out trainees are awarded with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) by NCVT, Government of India. NAC is recognized for employment under Government/quasi-Government departments / organizations.
Industrial School Exam System
Every year nearly 15,000 trainees are appearing for the Industrial School Common Examination. The Common examination is conducted every year in June and the supplementary examination is conducted in January. The Question papers are prepared by the Department and the examinations are conducted manually. Computerized Industrial School pass certificates to the passed out trainees are issued from June 2006. SBEVT has been formed at the Head Office as per G.O.Ms.No.30, Labour & Employment Dept. dated 07.03.2019 and the examinations are conducted by the SBVET. Also the result of the Common Examination of Industrial Schools is declared through the concerned Regional Joint Directors.
