When and how to apply for admission to a trade in the ITI?

Application forms can directly be obtained from the Office of the Principal on payment of Rs.50 only towards the cost of application form and prospectus. Separate application forms are mandatory if one wishes to apply for more than one trades.

Issue of application forms will be started every year soon after the HSC results are published in the month of june. Filled up application forms should reach this office on or before the dead line date as mentioned in the application form.

Admission Procedure

Admission is strictly on merit basis. Applicant are ranked based on the aggregate marks (Aggregate is calculated considering the marks obtained by the applicants in Mathematics and Science) obtained and as per the reservation policy issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu during the time of admission.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit for admission to all the trades is 14 years. There is no upper age limit to join in the course for female and the age limit is 40 years for male.
