Government Industrial Training Institute, Semmandalam, Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, India, comes under the Department of Employment and Training. This Department is headed by the Director of Employment and Training. With high quality training methodologies and a dedicated and devoted faculity, use of quality and efficiency in training is assured.

This institution is upgraded as a COE by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The Craftsman Training Scheme is offered are in Engineering Trades and Non-Engineering Trades . A Centre of Excellence is available in PPO sector. A short term courses on ‘Skill Training’ is offered.

4. Sports fee Rs.10 for 1 year trades, Rs.20 for two year trades
5. Fees for Registration and Identification card Rs.25
6. Certificate verification fees Rs.50
7. Examination fees Rs.275 Payable before examination & before the due date announced.

Stipend Details

1. Stipend was given to the trainees every month as per the directions given by Government of Tamil Nadu.
2. Stipend is given to the children of Farmers as per the directions given by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
3. Scholarship issued by Tamil Nadu farmer Welfare Scheme: Rs.1500/- per year (subject to Government Orders)
4. Scholarship issued by Construction Labour Welfare Scheme: Rs.1000/- per Year.
5. Scholarship for Minority Trainees: Rs.3000/- per Year
