Vision and Mission:

Technical and Vocational Education plays a vital role in human resource development of the country by creating skilled manpower, enhancing industrial productivity and improving the quality of life. Tamilnadu is one of the highly industrialized states in India. Skilled workers are the wealth of the nation and future advanced technologies are developing through them. Department of Employment and Training is providing almost all kind of vocational training through ITI's all over Tamilnadu. As one of such institute we ensure a steady flow of skilled workers in different trades for the industry and reduce unemployment among the educated youth.

The aim of Government ITI Perumbakkam is to provide qualitative and quantitative skilled workers in various industries and also provide training to become an entrepreneur. We are committed to provide the best academic and competitive training through providing specially designed training programs; faculty and support staff to update knowledge and sharpen the skills of the trainees and enhance trainee's satisfaction through a quality management system which registers continual improvement by setting and reviewing quality objectives.
