The world today faces an absolute scarcity for skilled manpower.  India has enormous manpower, which  has to be transformed into skilled workforce of world standards.  Nagercoil is a Corporation and administrative headquarters of Kanyakumari District in Tamilnadu. Situated to close the tip of Indian Peninsula, it lies on an insulating terrain between the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea.  Nagercoil is the 12th biggest city of Tamilnadu.     India crowded with major Industries in and around has been a hub for employing training workforce for a long time.  The work force needed by the industries are for long being satisfied by  trained ITI graduates from SMRV Government Industrial Training Institute (women), Nagercoil. We at Government ITI, Nagercoil  are committed to the process of training youth to the standards needed by the  Industries.

In order to stand up to the latest trends and technology advances, Centre of Excellence (Technician  Medical Electronics) trade was introduced in our Institute.  I am proud to lead a bunch of dedicated well trained staff members committed to our vision "Youth Empowerment Through Vocational Training".
