About Govt. ITI, Tindivanam
Government Industrial Training Institute, Tindivanam was started in the year 2016 as per G.O Ms.No.4, Labour and Employment(S1) Department dated:04.01.2016. It is situtated in 2.01 acres of land at Molasoor Village, Tindivanam on Tindivanam-Puducherry highway road.
This Institute is functioning with Five trades such as Fitter, Mechanic Refrigeration and Air Conditioner, Wireman, Welder and Solar Technician(Electrical).
The Institute has a very strong Institute-Industry linkage and almost all the passed out students are getting placement in various industries. The regular campus recruiters are 1) M/s. L&T Rubber Processing Machinery Ltd, Ramapuram, Chennai 2) M/s TVS Sundaram Fasteners, Chennai 3) M/s Cold Point Private Ltd, Chennai 4) M/s. L&T CSTI,Kancheepuram 5) Cooper Standard Automotive, Maraimalainagar 6) Whirlpool Pvt Ltd., Puducherry, etc..
The students from the Villupuram Districts including Tindivanam and other districts are studying in this Insitute. The students from longer distance are accomodated in this institute hostel.
