Greetings to All.

In my own understanding and assessment I strongly believe that the students who pass out of the Industrial Training Institutes are the real backbone of the Engineering Industry in the country.

Coupled with basic theoretical, yet a significant hands on skills these students go on to become some of the finest craftsmen in the country.

As a Chairman of the GITI – Jamunamarathur over the past three years it has been a privileges to be part of this institute with fellow colleagues from other industries. We have been constantly striving to bridge the Industry Institute Gap, through multiple engagement points be it enhancing inputs to the students through training and employability skills, or the capacity building of teachers or even enabling multiple industry exposures we strive to make these students who typically come from the rural backgrounds, and tribal areas more industry ready and create a career for themselves.

The IMC is in the process of creating a long term Institute Development Plan, with a holistic view of development across all spheres both education, physical well-being including enhancing their outlook and leadership skills, with the aim of making this ITI amongst the top five in the state over the next 3-5 years.
