SKILLS TAUGHT IN ITI:

Safety awareness in chemical plant, PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) and ﬁre ﬁghting equipment
Basic ﬁtting, gas/arc welding and tube ﬁtting Identiﬁcation, test, repair and calibration of electrical/electronic components and measuring instruments
Knowledge of basic computer hardware
Troubleshoot, test, repair and calibration of pressure, temperature, ﬂow level
Measuring & controlling instruments,electronic/pneumatic converters, and safety valves
Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), DCS(Distributed Control System) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)
Maintenance and operation of heat exchanger, chiller, steam trap, distillation column and triple effect evaporator
